What Happens When You Call?

  1. Tell us about your situation.

What's bothering you? What have you already tried? What are you hoping to achieve?

  2. We'll answer your initial questions.

Is regenerative therapy potentially a fit for your condition? What's the next step?

  3. If it makes sense, we'll schedule a consultation.

You'll meet with Dr. Alexander, get a full diagnostic evaluation, and leave with a clear understanding of whether regenerative therapy is likely to help.

If it doesn't make sense, we'll tell you that too. We won't waste your time or money if we don't think we can help.

We'll respond within 1 business day.

What to Bring to Your Consultation

To help us understand your case, please bring:

  • Medical records related to your condition (if available)
  • Imaging studies: MRI, X-rays, CT scans, ultrasound reports (digital or printed copies)
  • List of medications and supplements you're currently taking
  • List of previous treatments you've tried (physical therapy, injections, surgeries, etc.)
  • Your questions — write them down so you don't forget

Don't have all of this? That's okay. We can work with what you have and order additional imaging if needed.

What Happens During Your Consultation?

1

Medical History Review (15-20 minutes)

We'll discuss your condition, symptoms, previous treatments, overall health, and goals.

2

Physical Examination (10-15 minutes)

Dr. Alexander will examine the affected area — checking range of motion, tenderness, strength, and function.

3

High-Definition Ultrasound Imaging (20-30 minutes)

We'll use diagnostic ultrasound to visualize the damaged tissue in real time — tendons, ligaments, muscles, joints, cartilage. This often reveals things that MRI or X-rays miss.

4

Discussion & Treatment Plan (20-30 minutes)

Based on everything we've found, Dr. Alexander will explain:

  • • What's damaged and why it's causing your symptoms
  • • Whether regenerative therapy is likely to help
  • • What the treatment would involve (how many sites, what type of cells/biologics, how many sessions)
  • • What the expected timeline for improvement looks like
  • • What the cost will be
  • • What alternatives exist (physical therapy, surgery, other options)
5

Questions & Decision

You'll have time to ask every question you have. Then you decide — proceed, think it over, or explore other options. No pressure either way.

Total time: Plan for 60-90 minutes.

How Much Does a Consultation Cost?

Consultation and diagnostic ultrasound fees are typically applied toward your treatment cost if you proceed.

If you choose not to move forward with treatment, consultation fees apply. (Confirm exact cost when scheduling.)

What If I'm Not a Candidate?

Not everyone is a good fit for regenerative therapy.

If Dr. Alexander doesn't think regenerative medicine is likely to help your specific condition, he'll tell you — and he'll suggest what might work better (physical therapy, surgical consultation, other options).

We'd rather be honest with you than take your money for a treatment that won't help.

Can I Just Do a Phone Consultation First?

We're happy to answer general questions over the phone to help you decide if an in-person consultation makes sense.

Call (406) 375-5451 or (406) 777-4477 and tell us about your situation. We'll give you an honest initial assessment and let you know if coming in is worthwhile.

For a formal evaluation and treatment plan, you'll need an in-person consultation — we need to examine you and image the affected area to give you accurate guidance.

Out-of-state patients: Telemedicine consultations are available for initial screening and discussion. If you're a candidate for treatment, we'll coordinate an in-person visit that combines your consultation and procedure in a single trip whenever possible.

Do You Treat Patients from Out of State?

Yes.

Many of our patients travel from other states (and occasionally other countries) for treatment.

If you're traveling for care:

  • ✅ Schedule your consultation and procedure on the same trip if possible (most cases can be completed in one visit)
  • ✅ Plan to stay in the area for at least 24-48 hours post-treatment for initial recovery and follow-up check
  • ✅ We can coordinate with your local healthcare providers for long-term follow-up

Nearby accommodations and travel logistics: We're happy to provide recommendations for hotels, short-term rentals, and transportation options in the Hamilton/Missoula area.
